Department Overview
Physical Education develops a range of physical skills to enable performers to display more advanced skills within a range of activities. It also allows students to develop their knowledge of theoretical aspects of PE such as leadership and coaching, health and fitness and anatomy and physiology.
Sporting activities undertaken by boys and girls at Key Stage 3:
Football, Rugby, Athletics, Basketball, Netball, Dance, Rounders, Cricket, OAA, Fitness, Tennis, Badminton, Ultimate Frisbee, Tchoukball, Hockey, Cross Country, Gymnastics and Trampolining.
Our PE Department also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities which cater for all ability levels. We enter a range of local and national competitions with the aim of providing a high quality sporting experience for all.
