Music Play Days - 24 and 25 June 2025

As part of the Year 6 taster days offered at Horbury Academy, we are offering ‘Music Play Days’ in partnership with Wakefield Music Services (WMS). This is a great opportunity to experience our outstanding performing arts facilities, meet our staff and other musicians, and inspire a love of music-making. It’s the perfect introduction to the vibrant musical community on offer at Horbury Academy.

Students will take part in a one-hour rehearsal as part of a Pop Orchestra. Although there is no minimum experience requirement, this activity is aimed at students who have (or have had) instrumental lessons and can bring their own (or WMS-loaned) instruments.
